For cold starts with lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) at temperatures below 15 °C, several start attempts may be necessary. To do this, the LiFePO4 battery must be fully charged. For a cold start, press the starter for approx. 6 seconds and then wait approx. 30 seconds. This pause is extremely important so that the LiFePO4 battery can warm up and the battery is not damaged. Repeat this process until the motorcycle starts.
Lithium LiFePo4 batteries must always be charged with a special lithium charger.
Incorrect charging can lead to thermal deformation, damage, or destruction of the high-quality battery.

Due to their specific properties, lead-acid batteries can only use 30% of their capacity, while LiFePO4 batteries can use almost 100% of their capacity.
For this reason, LiFePO4 batteries require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power.
The connections are identical and, with the help of adapters, the dimensions correspond to those of the original lead-acid battery, which is why the battery can be replaced in a few minutes without any further adjustments.
The technology and manufacturing process ensure the highest safety standards for LiFePO4 batteries.
ATTENTION: Only suitable chargers, such as those available in the shop, may be used for charging. Please refer to the technical data above for the maximum recommended charging currents. Under no circumstances should chargers be used that attempt to desulfate deeply discharged batteries below 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before starting the actual charging process. The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
