ATTENTION - When installing a new starter motor, it is is to also install the latest Rieju Bendix Kit + cover.
Please note that it is generally known that the 2015-2019 Gasgas EC models, which this starter fits, place a very heavy load on the starter. The reason for a starter defect is very often a Bendix problem.
If the Bendix is no longer working at 100%, the starter will also no longer be able to work properly. However, it will continue to try to start the engine. Among other things, this can lead to the starter burning out or the starter gear being damaged.
Therefore, there is no warranty on burnt-out starters or starters with damaged drive gears.
Rieju has modified the Bendix kit, including the cover, to solve this problem with the 2022 model year.
